In Friday's non-league contest, the host Morrilton Devil Dogs basketball team scored a good 41-26 triumph over the Clarksville Panthers.
The Devil Dogs (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Bruins go into the 4A Region 5 North contest with a 19-0 record. In their last contest, Pulaski Academy topped Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR), 58-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR) in a 4A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Clarksville will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 66-37 league win over Mena (Mena, AR).
