With the victory, Cleburne County advances its record to 5-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Cherokee County (Centre, AL) to face the Warriors in a 4A Area 12 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 17-3. Cherokee County lost 46-43 in their recent non-league match against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL)

The Lions now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Talladega for a non-league match on Monday, January 20. Munford will face a Tigers squad coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Alexandria (Alexandria, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-10.
