The South Side Hornet basketball squad (Bee Branch, AR), was outscored 61-44 in Friday's league battle with the host Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, AR)
With the victory, Conway Christian advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Eagles host Bigelow (Bigelow, AR) to meet the Panthers in a 2A Region 5 battle on Friday, January 24. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 13-7.
The Hornet now own a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host White County Central for a 2A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 21. South Side will meet a Bears squad coming off a 77-16 league loss to Quitman (Quitman, AR). The Bears record now stands at 4-19.
