North Carolina High School Basketball - Pine Lake Prep holds off Corvian Community

January 17, 2025: Mooresville, NC 28115

The Pine Lake Prep Pride basketball team scored 33 points and limited the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals to 29 in the Pride league triumph on Friday.

The Pride now possess a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Community School of Davidson for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores game on Tuesday, January 21. Pine Lake Prep will confront a Spartans team coming off a 65-28 league win over Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Corvian Community falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Bears in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bears go into the game with a record of 3-10. Bradford Prep lost 41-25 in their recent league game against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)
