In Friday's league contest, the host Crystal Lake South Gators basketball team scored a good 56-47 triumph over the Jacobs Golden Eagles.
The Gators (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Tigers go into the Fox Valley contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Crystal Lake Central topped Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL), 51-12, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles confront the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) in a Fox Valley contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Jacobs will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 4-15 record after their 62-37 non-league loss to Oswego (Oswego, IL).
