The Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Dayton Pirates (Dayton, OR), 60-37 in Friday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Corbett for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Taft will play a Cardinals team coming off a 48-43 league win over Rainier (Rainier, OR). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Dayton falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Amity (Amity, OR) to play the Warriors in a 3A PacWest bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 15-0. Amity won 68-38 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Jefferson, OR)
