The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Dover Pirates (Dover, AR) and the host Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR), observed Dover's basketball team overwhelm Two Rivers by a score of 69-15.
The Pirates (20-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Glen Rose (Malvern, AR). The Beavers come into the 3A Region 5 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Glen Rose was routed by Atkins (Atkins, AR), 53-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Gators battle the Baptist Prep Eagles (Little Rock, AR) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Two Rivers will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 46-36 league win over Perryville (Perryville, AR).
