The Midland Chemics basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Dow Chargers to 41 in the Chemics league win on Friday.

The Chemics (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Oilers come into the Saginaw Valley challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Pleasant defeated Central (Bay City, MI), 62-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Grand Blanc Bobcats (Grand Blanc, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Dow will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 67-43 non-league loss to Renaissance (Detroit, MI).
