The Durant Wildcats basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host West Branch Bears to 40 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Midland for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Durant will confront a Eagles team coming off a 38-20 league win over Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, West Branch falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to confront the Golden Hawks in a River Valley - South game on Tuesday, January 21.
