The Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) basketball crushed the visiting East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA), 68-26 in Friday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hebron Christian for a AA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Franklin County will play a Lions team coming off a 69-65 non-league win over Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL). The Lions record now stands at 18-1.
With the loss, East Jackson falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-14. West Hall lost 64-30 in their recent league bout against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA)
