The Elk Mound Mounders basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Mondovi Buffaloes to 30 in the Mounders league triumph on Friday.

The Mounders now have a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Regis for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Elk Mound will confront a Ramblers team coming off a 72-45 league win over McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Ramblers record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Mondovi falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Elmwood/Plum City (Elmwood, WI) to meet the Wolves in a Dunn-St. Croix match on Thursday, January 23. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 1-12.
