The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX) and the host Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX), observed Mansfield Summit's basketball team overwhelm Everman by a margin of 64-35.

The Jaguars (22-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region I District 8 challenge with a 6-17 record. In their last challenge, Seguin was trounced by Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 54-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Everman will attempt to better on its 12-11 season record. The Elks come into the challenge with a 8-19 record after their 59-41 league loss to Joshua (Joshua, TX).
