Georgia High School Basketball - Spalding trounced by Fayette County

The Spalding Jaguars basketball squad (Griffin, GA), was crushed 73-15 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA)

With the victory, Fayette County advances its record to 13-4 on the year. The Tigers host Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to meet the Patriots in a AAA Region 2 battle on Saturday, January 18. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 12-3. Sandy Creek won 63-21 in their recent league battle against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA)

The Jaguars now own a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troup County for a AAA Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Spalding will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 63-60 league loss to LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
