The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA) and the host Milford Scarlet Hawks (Milford, MA), observed Franklin's basketball team overwhelm Milford by a score of 55-31.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Canton (Canton, MA). The Bulldogs come into the Hockomock challenge with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Scarlet Hawks encounter the Oliver Ames Tigers (North Easton, MA) in a Hockomock challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Milford will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 50-38 league win over North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA).
