North Carolina High School Basketball - Willow Spring routs Fuquay - Varina

In Friday's league contest, the host Willow Spring Storm basketball team scored a big 62-39 triumph over the Fuquay - Varina Bengals.

The Storm (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates go into the 4A Greater Neuse River contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Corinth Holders was trounced by Clayton (Clayton, NC), 62-53, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bengals battle the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) in a 4A Greater Neuse River contest, on Thursday, January 23. Fuquay - Varina will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 62-53 league win over Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).
