Virginia High School Basketball - Hylton nudges Gar-Field

January 17, 2025: Woodbridge, VA 22193

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Hylton Bulldogs (Woodbridge, VA) and the visiting Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA), observed Hylton's basketball team edge Gar-Field by a score of 38-33.

The Bulldogs (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Freedom (Woodbridge, VA). The Eagles come into the Cardinal challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Freedom edged Potomac Senior (Dumfries, VA), 43-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Wolves encounter the Woodbridge Vikings (Woodbridge, VA) in a Cardinal bout, on Tuesday, January 21. Gar-Field will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 53-39 non-league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA).
