Mississippi High School Basketball - Pascagoula overwhelms George County

The Pascagoula Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting George County Rebels to 16 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Hancock for a 6A Region 4 game on Tuesday, January 21. Pascagoula will confront a Hawks team coming off a 59-29 league win over Picayune (Picayune, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 19-1.
With the loss, George County falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to West Harrison (Gulfport, MS) to confront the Hurricanes in a 6A Region 4 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Hurricanes go into the game with a record of 19-2.
