The Gillett Tigers nipped the visiting Niagara Badgers basketball squad by a final score of 44-40 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Tigers face the Northland Pines Eagles (Eagle River, WI) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 18. Gillett will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record.

The Badgers (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Florence (Florence, WI). The Bobcats enter the non-league outing with a 8-5 record.
