Colorado High School Basketball - Union Colony Prep trounced by Gilpin County

The Union Colony Prep Timberwolves basketball squad (Greeley, CO), was crushed 49-20 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO)

With the victory, Gilpin County advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to West Grand (Kremmling, CO) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 12-1. West Grand won 25-24 in their recent league battle against Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO)

The Timberwolves now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dayspring Christian Academy for a 3A/2A/1A Mile High battle on Tuesday, January 21. Union Colony Prep will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 56-27 league win over Belleview Christian (Westminster, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
