Georgia High School Basketball - Glascock County triumphant over Twiggs County

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) and the visiting Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), observed Glascock County's basketball team overwhelm Twiggs County by a margin of 49-16.

The Panthers (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Trojans come into the A D2 Region 5 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Johnson County was trounced by Hancock Central (Sparta, GA), 51-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cobras battle the Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Twiggs County will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 43-18 league win over Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA).
