The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC) and the host Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC), observed J.F. Webb's basketball team overwhelm Granville Central by a score of 56-15.

The Warriors (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, East Chapel Hill trounced Hillside (Durham, NC), 42-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) in a 2A/3A Northern Lakes challenge, on Friday, January 24. Granville Central will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 59-45 league win over Louisburg (Louisburg, NC).
