In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting New Bern Christian Academy basketball team scored a good 44-35 win over the Greenville Christian Academy Knights.

The (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC). The Conquerors come into the Mid-Atlantic Christian - 2A North contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Faith Christian Academy was topped by Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC), 41-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC) in a NCCSA AA East Region 4 contest, on Thursday, January 23. Greenville Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 0-11 record after their 63-10 non-league loss to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC).
