The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) and the host Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA), observed Griffin's basketball team overwhelm Northside by a margin of 57-36.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Northside will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 59-18 non-league win over Manchester (Manchester, GA).
