In Friday's league contest, the host Marengo Indians basketball team scored a big 56-24 triumph over the Harvard Hornets.

The Indians (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Maple Leafs go into the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Geneseo was trounced by Moline (Moline, IL), 53-29, in a league contest.
