The Jefferson Davis County Jaguars basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Hazlehurst Indians to 21 in the Jaguars league triumph on Friday.
The Jaguars now have a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Hattiesburg for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Jefferson Davis County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 49-42 league win over West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, Hazlehurst falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS) to confront the Tigers in a 3A Region 6 game on Friday, January 24. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 7-10.
