Kansas High School Basketball - Spearville bested by Hodgeman County

Hodgeman County Longhorns (Jetmore, KS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Spearville Lancers (Spearville, KS), 51-37 in a league match.

With the victory, Hodgeman County advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Longhorns travel to South Gray (Montezuma, KS) to meet the Rebels in a Southern Plains-Iroquois match on Tuesday, January 21. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 11-0. South Gray won 66-18 in their recent league match against Minneola (Minneola, KS)

The Lancers now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Central for a Southern Plains-Iroquois match on Tuesday, January 21. Spearville will meet a Timberwolves squad coming off a 49-44 league win over Satanta (Satanta, KS). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-3.
