In Friday's league contest, the host Nemaha Central Thunder basketball team scored a big 42-20 triumph over the Holton Wildcats.
The Thunder (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sabetha (Sabetha, KS). The Bluejays go into the Big East contest with a 0-7 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Tonganoxie Chieftains (Tonganoxie, KS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Holton will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record.
