Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), 68-32 in a league match.

With the victory, Hononegah advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Indians host Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to face the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois 10 match on Tuesday, January 21. The E-Rabs enter the match with a record of 2-18. Rockford East lost 57-34 in their recent league match against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL)

The J-Hawks now own a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Jefferson will face a Giants squad coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Giants record now stands at 10-5.
