Michigan High School Basketball - Ionia victorious over Lakewood

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ionia Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 54-37 triumph over the Lakewood Vikings.

The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mason (Mason, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Mason topped Eastern (Lansing, MI), 50-17, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Lakewood will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 60-42 league win over Niles (Niles, MI).
