In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored a good 52-44 triumph over the Lafayette County Huskers.

The Minutemen (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Crest Ridge (Centerview, MO). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Crest Ridge topped Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO), 55-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Huskers confront the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) in a Missouri River Valley - East contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Lafayette County will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record.
