With the victory, Lakeview advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Huskies host North Adams-Jerome (North Adams, MI) to meet the Rams in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Rams enter the match with a record of 2-6.

The Chieftains now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Romeo for a Macomb Area - White match on Wednesday, January 22. Utica will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-29 league win over L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-8.
