The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA) and the host Northwood Gators (Lena, LA), observed LaSalle's basketball team overcome Northwood by a margin of 42-25.

The Tigers (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dodson (Dodson, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Dodson dropped by Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA), 62-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gators battle the Lakeview Gators (Campti, LA) in a 1A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Northwood will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 60-46 league win over Logansport (Logansport, LA).
