The Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE) basketball toppled the visiting Lewiston Tigers (Lewiston, NE), 40-28 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Jets now possess a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Parkview Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23. Sterling will play a Patriots team coming off a 50-4 non-league loss to Brownell Talbot (Omaha, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 1-11.
