The Maumelle Charter Falcons basketball squad (Maumelle, AR), was nudged 56-49 in Friday's league battle with the host Riverview Raiders (Searcy, AR)
With the victory, Riverview advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Raiders host Episcopal (Little Rock, AR) to encounter the Wildcats in a 3A Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 8-9. Episcopal lost 57-53 in their recent league test against Harding Academy (Searcy, AR)
The Falcons (11-16) will now prepare for their test against Bald Knob (Bald Knob, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 6 test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, Bald Knob held off Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR), 57-32, in a league test.
