The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV) and the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), observed Mount View's basketball team edge Meadow Bridge by a score of 44-37.
The Golden Knights (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Meadow Bridge will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 60-33 non-league loss to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV).
