The Mustangs now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Spotsylvania for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Mechanicsville will play a Knights team coming off a 99-22 league loss to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Knights record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Patrick Henry falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Patriots host Armstrong (Richmond, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Capital bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Armstrong won 45-26 in their recent league bout against Varina (Richmond, VA)
