The Cardinals (19-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Anna (Anna, TX). The Coyotes come into the 5A Region II District 9 challenge with a 20-8 record. In their last challenge, Anna trounced McKinney North (McKinney, TX), 52-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Greenville Lions (Greenville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sherman will attempt to better on its 2-20 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-23 record after their 49-12 league loss to Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX).
