The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mountain View Thunder (Vancouver, WA) and the host Prairie Falcons (Vancouver, WA), observed Mountain View's basketball team knock off Prairie by a score of 66-53.

The Thunder (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Jesuit was knocked off by West Linn (West Linn, OR), 59-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Evergreen Plainsmen (Vancouver, WA) in a 3A Greater St. Helens challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Prairie will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 74-51 league win over Kelso (Kelso, WA).
