In Friday's league contest, the host Trion Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 45-28 triumph over the Mt. Zion Eagles.
The Bulldogs (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Model (Rome, GA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Model topped Temple (Temple, GA), 45-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Mt. Zion will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-14 record after their 52-20 league loss to New Manchester (Douglasville, GA).
