Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS), 55-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Natchez advances its record to 17-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Florence (Florence, MS) to face the Eagles in a 5A Region 3 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-2.
The Braves now own a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Pike for a 5A Region 3 match on Tuesday, January 21. South Jones will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 59-39 league win over Provine (Jackson, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 16-4.
