Iowa High School Basketball - Wayne defeats Nodaway Valley

The Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) basketball were winner over the visiting Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA), 68-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mormon Trail for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Wayne will play a Saints team coming off a 50-36 league loss to Diagonal (Diagonal, IA). The Saints record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Nodaway Valley falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Lenox (Lenox, IA) to play the Tigers in a Pride of Iowa - West bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Lenox won 51-44 in their recent non-league bout against Central Decatur (Leon, IA)
