The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) and the host North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), observed Salisbury's basketball team overcome North Rowan by a score of 49-37.

The Hornets (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Parkland defeated North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 58-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. North Rowan will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
