Kansas High School Basketball - Wheatland-Grinnell overwhelms Northern Valley

The Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Northern Valley Huskies to 31 in the Thunderhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Thunderhawks now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Western Plains for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Wheatland-Grinnell will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 52-25 league loss to Cheylin (Bird City, KS). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Northern Valley falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Logan/Palco (Logan, KS) to confront the in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The go into the game with a record of 2-8. Logan/Palco lost 34-33 in their recent non-league game against Weskan (Weskan, KS)
