Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA), 61-57 in a league match.
With the victory, Slidell advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Tigers host Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a 5A District 7 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 11-15. Fontainebleau lost 49-40 in their recent non-league match against St. Scholastica (Covington, LA)
The Panthers now own a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Live Oak for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22.
