In Friday's league contest, the visiting Stoney Creek Cougars basketball team scored a close 46-43 triumph over the Oxford Wildcats.
The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Dakota was tipped by Port Huron (Port Huron, MI), 36-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Oxford will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Broncos go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 43-23 non-league loss to Armada (Armada, MI).
