Mississippi High School Basketball - Simpson Academy overwhelms Park Place Christian Academy

The Simpson Academy Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders to 21 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Leake Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 game on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, Park Place Christian Academy falls to 8-15 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Lamar (Meridian, MS) to confront the Raiders in a MAIS 5A District 2 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 13-10. Lamar lost 49-45 in their recent league game against East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS)
