Georgia High School Basketball - Wayne County thwarts Perry

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA) and the visiting Perry Panthers (Perry, GA), observed Wayne County's basketball team knock off Perry by a score of 41-23.
The Yellow Jackets (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Demons come into the AAAA Region 1 challenge with a 19-0 record. In their last challenge, Warner Robins prevailed over Ware County (Waycross, GA), 52-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) in a AAAA Region 1 challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Perry will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.
