The Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Progreso Red Ants (Progreso, TX), 46-20 in Friday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 19-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lyford for a 3A Region IV District 32 bout on Monday, January 20. Santa Rosa will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-40 league win over Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-6.
The Red Ants (0-11) will now prepare for their outing against Raymondville (Raymondville, TX). The Bearkats come into the 3A Region IV District 32 outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, Raymondville routed IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX), 79-5, in a league outing.
