North Dakota High School Basketball - Shanley holds off Red River

The Shanley Deacons basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Red River Roughriders to 56 in the Deacons league triumph on Friday.
The Deacons now have a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Fargo North for a AA East game on Tuesday, January 28.
With the loss, Red River falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Moorhead (Moorhead, MN) to confront the Spuds in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Spuds go into the game with a record of 8-9. Moorhead lost 64-28 in their recent league game against Elk River (Elk River, MN)
