The Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) basketball were winner over the visiting Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN), 56-43 in Friday's league bout.
The Golden Eagles now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Loudon for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, Walker Valley falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Mustangs host McMinn County (Athens, TN) to play the Cherokees in a 4A District 5 bout on Friday, January 24. The Cherokees go into the bout with a record of 5-12.
